Sizzle Pitch makes filmmakers out of everyone
Sizzle Pitch began with a scrappy crew of Midwestern film lovers coming together to make a feature-length film. We built a reasonable budget, found an amazing cast and crew, and began the process of independent filmmaking. It was far more successful than we could have ever imagined.
We caught the filmmaking bug and knew that others would, too.
Now we’re harnessing the power of passion to find others like us who want to get an inside look at filmmaking without having millions of dollars or a background in film to open the door.
Sizzle Pitch has created a community of movie lovers who can experience the behind-the-scenes of being a producer on any number of our film and TV projects. Think production insight meetings, videos from production, set visits, and wrap parties. They then get to see their film project come to life. This can all be done remotely, or our cohort members can take advantage of in-person opportunities as they become available.
Sizzle Pitch focuses on short films, sizzle reels, and proofs-of-concept as a launching pad to get projects more exposure.
You don’t need a background in film to be a part of the community. We just want you to love movies and have an interest in the process of making them.
